Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – it is a classical research-type university. Its tasks are education, science, research and innovations. University` main goals are to implement innovative technologies, to organize and perform education in close collaboration research. It ensures  development of as fundamental as applied research.

European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (EFOMP)

The mission of the European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (EFOMP) is to harmonise and develop medical physics in both its professional clinical and scientific expression throughout Europe, and to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the National Member Organizations (NMOs). The current membership includes 35 national organizations, which together represent over 9,000 medical physicists and clinical engineers working in the field of medical physics. The motto developed and used by EFOMP to highlight the important work of medical physics societies in healthcare is “Applying physics to healthcare for the benefit of patients, staff and the public”.

Ukrainian Association of Medical Physicists and Engineers

The public organization «Ukrainian Association of Medical Physicists and Engineers» (UAMPE) was established in 2013. It aims to promote professional activity and development in medical physics and engineering in Ukraine. The association increases awareness of education and scientific activity in medicine, implementation of a radiation safety culture, and patient and personnel radiation protection, public healthcare protection.

 

 

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was founded on November 17, 1804. The university is a member of the Association of the European Nuclear Education Network and has the status of a research university. Certified in the natural sciences and mathematics direction (group A). It implements a broad program of international cooperation and is an active member of the international community of leading European and world universities.
