XІІ international conference “Medical physics – the current status, problems, the way of development. Innovation technologies”, October 28-30,  2026, Kyiv, Ukraine.

The conference aimed to:

  • combine efforts of representatives from educational and research organizations, medical institutions, engineering companies, and other organizations from different countries;

  • solve the actual problems in:

  • the training and professional growth of medical physicists, students' education, and the professional development of practitioners to obtain new knowledge and skills;

  • increasing the level of radiation protection on the use of nuclear energy;

  • performing scientific research, implementing innovative technologies, and promoting achievements in biomedical engineering and medicine;

  • ensuring the psychological support of Ukraine's public, including preventing professional burnout and improving mental health in emergencies.

The conference is designed for:

  • scientists

  • educators

  • practitioners

  • medical physicists

  • engineers

  • doctors

  • mental health specialists

  • students

  • other stakeholders.

The conference recommendations can be helpful for lawmakers and other stakeholders in the healthcare and science area.

Venue

Conference takes place in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, (online).

Forms of participation: remote report (oral presentation and paper published in conference proceedings); correspondence participation (paper published in conference proceedings); listener (no paper, no oral presentation). All participants can submit a paper to publish in the conference proceedings. The best youth reports are awarded by a special distinction. Doctors making remote presentations are awarded by 15 points of continuous professional development (in accordance with Appendix 6 of the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, No. 650 on 16.04.2025 “On approval of the Procedure for conducting certification of healthcare workers and amending certain orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”).

Publications

A Conference Proceedings is based on conference results. The best papers will be recommended for publication after double anonymous review and a positive review report. After review, the editorial board reserves the right to remove papers that do not meet the conference topic or requirements, change the form of presentation or suggest another section.

All publication costs of the scientific proceedings are covered by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Submission of articles to the  Conference Proceedings is permitted exclusively for participants of the conference "Medical physics – the current status, problems, the way of development. Innovation technologies".  Authors who are not registered participants of the conference are not eligible to submit articles for publication. Registration to participate.

All participants will receive an international certificate.

After the conference, a Conference Proceedings of materials from the conference “Medical physics – the current status, problems, the way of development. Innovation technologies” (in digital format) will be posted on the website.

The organizational fee aims to partial reimbursement for the program creation, Conference Proceedings of conference materials design, and an international certificate issuance.
